Sydney has been staying with us the last few days. We've had a great time. T loves her! This morning as we were eating breakfast, I saw him feed her cereal, from his spoon, and yep then he went on to eat more himself. Good thing we have dogs, and it didn't freak me out probably as much as it should have :)
Sam went out today help a neighbor, while he was gone, he made a surprise trip to the toy store and came home with this cool easel for T!
I'm so excited about it! T loves it and I have a feeling that it's going to get a lot of use during the next few years. (Sam, you're the best. Thank you!)
(The other side is a chalk board that T is equally as excited about as the paints. We love it!) Sam, again, really-you're the best.

yummmmm yogurt.
T recently decided to become a quite a picky little eater, but I know he'll always eat yogurt. Some of his other staple foods are: cereal with milk, applesauce, any kind of breads, and fruit of any kind (he'll eat a whole apple if you give him one...but he'll spit the skin out. I started peeling his apples) He loves dried fruit. And then of course crackers and cookies he'll always go for. He likes sandwiches too, which is what he usually has for lunch. He prefers Turkey, but he'll go for an egg salad sando too. We're really working on getting vegetables in his diet everyday. We've had to revert back to baby food vegetables because those are the only kind of veggies he'll touch. Hopefully he'll get over this picky stage soon, but until then I'll keep giving him his multi-vitamin everyday to make sure he's getting all the those vitamins he needs.
(He used to eat everything I gave him, I don't know where this came from, but I don't like it!)

Tonight, we celebrated.
With a candlelit dinner...
and we made a cake...
why??
Because Sam got the internship in Seattle!! I'm so proud of him and I'm so excited to live in Seattle this summer. (And who knows it might lead to a permanent position after graduation next spring?) Way to go Sammy!!
We love you!

See T's nice, clean hands? Well, they certainly weren't this clean all day. Humor me for a minute and read my story...
...T squirms, a lot, when getting his diaper changed. And sometimes he manages to get away while in between diapers. Well, today was one of those days, and so I (like I often do) thought, what the heck, I'll let him run around with no diaper for a few minutes. So I was straightening up the living room and he ran into the kitchen. Not more then 30 seconds later, he came sprinting, back into the living room, he came right up to me holding his hands out, crying, totally mortified...with poop covered all over both hands. (Ahhhh) I felt so bad for him that he was so scared, that I picked him right up without thinking and got poop all over my shirt (ahhhhh!). So we went straight to the bathtub.
Poor kid. He's so clean. He hates anything touching his hands. (stickers, sand, he hates it when marker gets on his hands...etc.) So this was really traumatic for him. I felt so bad.
Don't worry, the whole day wasn't ruined. After a bath and lots & lots of scrubbing his hands. He was introduced to one of me and Sam's favorite snacks...
yummmmm, milk and graham crackers. (he loved it...course does anyone not?)

Today we got to play with Taylor and Millie. These 3 love their cell phones. They spent the morning comparing and contrasting the different features on eathothers phones.
T spent a good portion of the day dressed like this... (he loves putting on and taking off his boots)
This afternoon Tiff invited us over to decorate sugar cookies. It was so much fun. Thanks Tiff & Taylor!

This morning, Tiff and I took the kids to a puppet show at a nearby church in our town. T was so into it. He totally loved it. (Can't you tell? He won't take his eyes off the stage!) It was way fun.
After the puppet show, we picked Sam up from the airport. He'd been in Seattle for the last couple of days, interviewing for an internship there for this summer. He had a 1st interview here, and the company liked him so much they flew him back there for a 2nd interview. We should hear within a week if we're moving to Seattle this summer. Either way, I'm so proud of him. And we're glad he's back!! We missed him so much!
He came home with this shirt for T. haha :)

T always puts the soap in the dishwasher. He loves it. Today I caught him try to stuff 2 in there.
This picture cracks me up, because he's always bringing me random things out of the pantry with a huge smile on his face and he gives it to me and says "mo, mo." (more)
The last week or so T's nap has been like 3 hrs long. I love it, because I get to make things while he naps. Today I made this growth chart project that I've been thinking up for a while now. I couldn't find a tutorial online that I liked for how to make them, so I totally made this one up and I like the way it turned out.
I can't believe my little dude is already 2.5 feet! I wish I would've made this earlier. He's already grown over a foot since birth! crazy!

T loves his blankie.
Well, today he was playing in his room and I was ironing in the room next to his. I heard him (kinda struggling) say, "key, key, key." then I heard his little feet run to the room I was in and he looked at me and said, "key!" I said, "do you want your blankie?" he got a huge smile on his face and ran back into his room. Turns out his blankie was in his crib and he couldn't reach it, so I helped him get it out. He was so excited to finally hold it. haha.

Well, T's sickness made it's way to Sam. He's felt it coming on for a few days now, but today it really hit him....and he wonders how he got it :) ha.
So, yep both my boys were sick on Valentines Day. (They sure looked so cute today though, sitting on the couch, eating popcorn & watching the Olympics together. ha. I love it!)
The good news is that T's finally feeling better. The bad news is that I was just starting to celebrate that I didn't catch it from T, and now I have to hope I don't catch it from Sam!
Happy Valentines Day!

T and I decided that we're going to have pancakes every Saturday morning for breakfast. We have cereal (which we love...don't get me wrong) the other 6 days and we want to do something special on Saturdays.
The Croup is still bugging us. Check out this poor nose.
Sam had to go to Philadelphia yesterday for school and he came back today with this super cute shirt....for me! I was totally surprised. Boy I married so well. Thanks Sam!

Sam's afternoon class got canceled today and he surprised us by coming home early! It was great, I hadn't left the house all week since T's been sick, so I jumped at the opportunity to get out on my own and left both boys home while I went to do some Valentines Day shopping. I was gone for just over an hour and when I came home, the house was totally spotless, T had eaten dinner and Sam was giving him a bath. (T was laughing hysterically, having the time of his life...loving dad time)
It was so nice to come home to. Thanks Sam :)

T has discovered his favorite cereal. He points to it in the pantry, and this morning he carried around the box for about an hour, he took it everywhere he went.
We made Play Dough today! It was so much fun and so easy! T helped pour all the ingredients into the pot.
...and a few minutes after stirring it on the stove,it was done & ready to be played with!
