I love my Ithaca friends. Not quite sure how I feel about moving in 4 days. Then I have to make new friends. I hope I can make some good friends like my friends here.

I wanted to take T for a ride on the bus that he watched his daddy get on every day before we left. We had so much fun and I'm so glad that we could talk some friends into going with us.

Sam finished his last final on Friday, so we've spent the last 3 days celebrating! We are so proud of him! Here are some pictures from our fun weekend.
Little sis is a pro at sitting now, so tonight I stuck her in the tub with T! She loved being in the tub with her big brother & he loved helping me with her soap & water. so fun! (I'm really excited I don't have to bathe them separately now! Way easier this way.)

Sam was on campus all afternoon studying so we went up there to visit him and take him a snack. While we were there, the kids and I decided to get out of the car and walk around campus. It was way fun.
So proud of Sam. He's worked so hard these past 2 years. Just one more final tomorrow and he'll be done! Master Sam.
Every hour the bell tower's bells ring. Someone actually goes up the bell tower and plays the bells for a good 10 minutes. T loved it. I did too. They played a handful of songs like the Harry Potter theme song and Star Wars. The bells are actually really cool sounding and the campus is so pretty that it's just fun to be up there.
Oh Cornell, we're going to miss you!
(totally bummed I didn't have a real camera with me. My iphone's camera is even broken. I had to use an app on my phone to take pictures. Oh well. I'm sure we'll go back one more time before we leave.)

Just when I thought I couldn't love Wegmans any more, they got soft serve frozen yogurt. I guess they have it during the summers but I didn't know this last year because we were already gone by this time. Anyway, today after we were done grocery shopping me and the kids shared a frozen yogurt.
Tart & strawberry swirl. It was delicious.

Ice Cream!! (poor little sis gets cheerios)
As our time in upstate NY is winding down, (sniff) I feel like we've been cramming in all the things we love to do here and one thing we love doing here is going out for ice cream. (well, who are we kidding we love doing that anywhere) but the ice cream here is especially good, and I'm glad we finally made it up to Cayuga Lake Creamery. We've been trying to go the past few times we've gone out and ended up going to the ice cream place closer to town. It was yummy though. I got the sea salt carmel, T got his favorite mint chip and Sam got the special of the day pistachio. Yum.

Today we went to the Cornell Ornithology open house. The study of birds is way big at Cornell. We saw a lot of really cool birds, listened to some bird calls and learned a little bit about migration.

It was a lovely anniversary. We took a picnic lunch up to the gorges with some friends. The kids loved playing in the water and I loved the nice weather & hanging out with Sam all day.
Thanks to Tahri, who came over to watch the kids, Sam & I got to go out alone last night! We went to dinner, where we ate nice and slow and chatted the whole time. It was a nice change from the rush and craziness of trying to go out to dinner with 2 little ones. When we were told we had to wait 35 min. for a table, we said no biggie and went on a nice stroll up the street to look at a beautiful Ithaca waterfall. We don't get to go out alone enough, and we soaked up every minute of it.
After dinner we didn't want to go home yet! (ha ha sorry Tahri!) so we went to Cornell's campus and walked hand & hand all around. Sam pointed out where he had some classes and showed me some of the new buildings that I hadn't seen yet. I loved it. It was perfect.
