It's great having my parents in town because they're willing to look like fools in public places to entertain T and keep him happy instead of me doing it.

We went out to breakfast this morning and here's my mom, pretending to be scared and T going, "woah!"

T loved playing at the park with my parents this week. They're fun at the park! I agree with him, they're great to have around :)

We made it back to Seattle, safe & sound on Saturday. T and I flew, and we're so lucky, we get to spend another whole week with my parents! They drove up Saturday after putting us on the plane and got here last night. They wanted to come visit before the summer was over, and this week turned out to be the best week for them to come :) This morning we took them to our favorite park and then this afternoon we took a boat ride around Lake Washington. It was a lot of fun and the weather was so beautiful!

We even spotted Sam's office building from the water! I wish Sam didn't have to work and he could've come with us...

Glad you came in town mom & dad! We're going to have a fun week!

This morning we went on a walk with Camilla and Walker. It was so fun to see them! I guess all the walking really wore these two out!


After our walk, we met up with Tiffany and Taylor to go swimming! They lived across the hall from us in NY, so we used to hang out with them at least once a day, now we miss them so much! They're moving to Chicago for a job and now I don't know when we're going to see them again :( But at least we got to see them today! It was so fun!

We've had such a fun day, and it's not even over yet! Tonight we get to go out to dinner with Sam's parents. We're having so much fun in Utah. We just wish Sam were here, we really miss him!

Today we went swimming with my mom, Sam's mom, Sam's 2 brothers and my cousin Amy and her 4 cute kids. Boy, we had so much fun. T loves swimming so much. Can you tell :)



Here's T and Amy's youngest little guy. He's about 6 months older then T. They live out of town too, so I'm glad we were in town at the same time so we could hang out!! I wish we lived closer to them so we could see them more!

This morning, T and I went down to Provo to spend some time with one of my best friends Shannon and her 2 cute girls. We played outside, got lunch at Einsteins and went to Story Time at the Library. The Provo Library's story time is so fun! Here are the kiddos at story time.

Sam is going to be in Louisiana all week for work, so T and I flew to Utah to spend the week with family and catch up with some friends. Last night some of my friends organized a fun girls night (dinner at Porcupine Grill...yumm). It was so much fun to see them! These girls are some of Sam's high school friends wifes. I love that we are all such buddies, and I'm so glad Sam's friends have such cool wifes. Ha. Thanks for the fun night ladies :) It was great!!

This morning T made Sam pancakes and scrambled eggs for breakfast...yummmm


After church we had lunch and watched the US Open (with milk & oatmeal cookies of course!)

This morning we took the ferry from Seattle over to Bainbridge Island. We had so much fun! T loved riding on the boat and looking out at the "Waba".

Over in Bainbridge, we went to breakfast, took a stroll around the Farmers Market (T loved the band that was playing, and he drew a little crowd with his sweet dance moves!), and got some delicious ice cream.

I'd like to go back to Bainbridge Island before the summer is over, we sure had a great time!!

We've learned that there are more rainy days here than not, so today we wanted to take advantage of the sun being out and we went swimming! I'm glad it was so nice out, we had a lot of fun :)

Last week, we discovered this toddler heaven play area on the top floor of the Bellevue Mall, only for kids under 6. SO FUN! The only problem is that we aren't the only ones who have discovered it, and when we found it (around 2pm) there were millions of kids, literally....everywhere. It was totally nuts. So this morning after we dropped Sam off at work around 8am, we drove to the mall and lucky for us, the mall was open, so we played for a few hours....and T basically had the whole thing to himself (there were a few other kids that came after we'd been there a while, which was fun anyway because he had kids to play with).

T was so happy, he had so much fun! (He's really tired from all the playing, he totally zonked out the second we got home) I'm so happy we found such a fun place to play on rainy mornings.

T is such a good helper, and he loves to help.
I was totally thrilled when we found a grocery store in Kirkland that had little kid sized shopping carts. We always go there when we just have a few things to pick up. T loves it and it's really cute to see him pushing the cart around, helping me pick things out to put in the cart.


The garbage can in our kitchen is really small and it's usually way light, so T has started helping me take out the trash too.
(Whenever he picks something up he goes.."song!" (strong) and is so proud of himself, I love it)


Some of the other things he loves to help with are: putting the soap in the dishwasher and starting it, moving the clothes from the washer to the dryer, starting the dryer, throwing trash in the garbage can, he LOVES putting ice in glasses, he likes getting a washcloth or wipes and scrubbing the floor or the table. He tries to help me put my shoes on but hasn't quite figured it out. Oh he loves to hold on to the hair dryer and blow dry my hair. haha. I'm sure there are other things too that I can't think of now.

When I'm doing something that he wants to help with, he'll pull on my leg and say, "elp? elp?" Ha. So cute. I hope this enthusiasm for helping stays with him his whole life.

Today I'm officially half way done with this pregnancy. I can't believe I'm already 20 weeks. It seemed like T took forever to cook in there, and this one is cruising by! Also, I think I was about this big when I was 9 months pregnant with T, I'm way bigger this time around, so it'll be interesting to see what happens over the next 4 months.

This little one moves a ton. I totally love it. I especially feel her a lot at night after I put T to bed and sit down. I get weekly emails about her development and today I got one that said she currently is roughly the length of a banana. We're so excited for this little one to be in our family. T is going to be the cutest big brother in the world. He loves babies and gives them kisses every time he sees them. I keep telling him that there's a baby in my tummy and she's going to be his little sister, but he seems super confused. Ha. Poor kid, it is pretty confusing.
Anyway, see ya in about 4 months little lady!!

Since we're away from our friend Roo, who usually cuts our hair...Sam cut T's hair yesterday. We sure missed Roo, but I think Sam did a great job!




I love short hair on T, I think he looks totally adorable. Great job Sammy!

We love Saturdays because we get to hang out with Sam all day!



After swimming, we went to the park. It was a beautiful day, I guess we weren't the only ones with the same plan. It was so crowded!! But we didn't mind, it was really fun to watch everyone.

Today I went to get T after his nap, and was a little horrified to find him sitting naked in his crib, his diaper sitting on the opposite side that he was, with a few clumps of poop in between him and his diaper. He looked confused and kind of scared so I grabbed him and gave him lots of hugs and kisses and told him it was fine. As I was kissing him, I smelled poop on his breath and I when I asked him if he ate some poop he stared crying. (Still don't know if he really did actually) Poor kid. It broke my heart. I stuck him in the tub and gave him a good tooth brushing.


We didn't let that ruin our day though. It was a perfect day for a picnic at the beach and that's what we did right after T's bath. Boy, we had fun!!

This morning we walked out the door, all dressed and ready to go to playgroup at the park with some friends we met at church on Sunday....but it was totally pouring...So we didn't even attempt to go to the park, T and I decided to head down to the Seattle Aquarium. We had so much fun!! T loved the "ish" and he's been talking about them all day.

After we got home and had lunch and and nap, the sun came out so we went swimming at our pool. Yep, we have a swimming pool just steps from our front door! It's been so fun to have!! We've already been there 4 times since we moved here a week ago. T loves the water ("waba") and he's becoming quite the little swimmer. He's really great at kicking, and Sam even taught him how to jump in the water off the side. I'll have to get it on video next time we go swimming with Sam, it's really cute :)
