The main attraction was the polar bear plunge, where people volunteered to jump into the freezing cold lake, wearing just their swimming suit! Like 20 people did it! They're nuts! There were like ambulances and rescue divers on hand. Ha. Who would do that?? We were too cold to even be outside, all bundled up, let alone jump in the water!
But of course couldn't leave without stopping for hot chocolate and doughnuts at the bakery. T was so happy, he hadn't had a doughnut in a way long time, and he absolutely loves doughnuts.
Sounds like fun!!! Wish I was with you all :-) It would be fun to see people jump in the water!

ReplyDeleteSam knows a little about the Polar Bear club. You should ask him about it. We used to go roll around in the snow and then run and jump back into the hot tub. I'm surprised he didn't join in
