T is completely obsessed with my Dad's office. He walks in there, every time we go up the stairs.


He loves the big globe, he reaches out for it and says "ball". He also knows exactly the shelf where my dad's autographed basketballs and footballs are and he'll reach up for them and say "ball". He'll keep reaching and saying it until we get the balls down to play with. T is a total boy. Ball is his favorite word, he says it all the time, seriously all day long. He's so much fun.

Christmas morning was so much fun with T this year!


Last year, he was a little too little to care about it, but this year he sure loved tearing all the wrapping paper and playing with all his new toys. I love being a mom.

Today we had so much fun making & decorating Sugar Cookies to put out for Santa tonight.


Santa will forsure be stopping by our house. T has been a really good kid all year!

{Christmas Eve is quite possibly my favorite day of the year...I love it! All the excitement, ohhhhh I can't wait for tomorrow morning!! ...and it's a million times better with a kid)

We went over for Dinner to Sam's brothers house. It was fun for T to spend time with his only 2 cousins.

Tonight I went to a wedding shower for my good friend Eliza.


I totally love my High School friends. I wish we all lived closer together so that we could get together more.

Last night (I'm a day late posting this..) we went to Sam's high school friends annual Christmas party. The sweaters just keep getting better and better, and you'd never believe some of the white elephant gifts that were exchanged this year! Here are the guys in all their glory...

We're having fun at home. T is loving all the new fun things to play with, especially Cliff's guitar.

We spent the entire day traveling across the country to be home for Christmas. I love T's little backpack :) In it, he carried a few little toys and some snacks.


He was a great little traveler, but man, we're so happy to be here and have that day behind us! 7 hours in an airplane is a long time!

Sam and T took a bath together this morning. T was laughing and having so much fun so I went to see what was going on and I saw this...

This is what a guy looks like that just finished all of his finals...


remote control and feet up...and believe me, he deserves it. I didn't even know it was possible to study as long and hard as Sam did these past few days. I'm so glad he's done! I have a husband & T has a dad again!

We went to the Laundromat today.


Sam usually does our laundry but he's been so busy studying for finals that we decided to surprise him with it. (yeah I know, gross that's T is barefoot, but I have to pick my battles and this just wasn't worth it to me. Plus, he had a bath the second we got home...)

This morning I saw T giving his orange juice to his toy dog.

We went bowling with T tonight.



He loved it, he kept saying "ball" and he'd clap after anybody would bowl. It was great to have a little cheerleader, he'd even clap for a gutterball :) I don't like posting pictures with me in them, but I love this picture and we bowled a spare together! cool huh?

We went to a cookie exchange party tonight.



It was great. I'd never been to one. So what you do is make your favorite cookies, and copy the recipe for each person that will be at the party. Then you exchange cookies & recipes with everyone so you come home with a bunch of yummy cookies and some new recipes. We had a ton of fun.

T has managed to figure out how to take the backs off of all our remote controls. If we leave them out, within T's reach, we're guaranteed to find them like this...



Today I watched him try to stuff the batteries back in after taking them out. It was pretty cute :)

Tonight we went to an end of the semester party for Sam's program. I know I'm not usually (never) in the pictures I post but since T was so tired while we were there, I ended up holding him most of the night and didn't get any great pictures of him worth posting. (this was about the only picture we took all night)


We had a great time, even though the party began about 2 hours past the time the T generally goes to sleep. He was so sleepy. Poor guy. Hopefully he'll sleep in tomorrow morning :)

After we got home from the grocery store today, I turned on T's favorite show for him to watch as I was in the kitchen putting our groceries away. When I peeked in the living room to check on him, he was doing this...


He had climbed into the laundry basket and was playing with all the clean clothes (that Sam took to the laundromat early this morning). He was having so much fun. What a funny kid :) I sure love my little guy.

Today it was soooooooo cold outside.

We were bummed because we were planning on going to the park today but we didn't brave the cold temps. I have a feeling our days hanging out at the park are nearly over until Spring. So sad. (since it's too cold to go outside anyway, I wish it would hurry up and snow already. I do love snow!)

We went over to our good friends house for Thanksgiving Dinner. Everything was perfect down to the table decorations. We ate great food and chatted with great company. Thank you so much to our friends who had us over. We have so many things to be thankful for.

We're dog sitting this week. It's so fun to have a dog in in the house again. We miss our dogs SO MUCH!

T got his first haircut today! (I don't know why we waited so long. It was past due!)


He really looks so handsome. Thanks to my good friend who cut his hair! I love it.

What would we do without this blanket??


T is in love with it. He sleeps with it, he sucks it, he bites it and it comes everywhere with us. He has a big one that stays in his crib and a small one that comes everywhere else with us. You'll find him holding it with at least one of his hands throughout most of the day.

It's really cute how in love he is with this blanket, and it'll break your heart to see his face if another kid takes it out of his hands. It's devastating to him. I hope we never lose this blanket. If we do, I'll be on the internet finding a replacement ASAP because T would be lost without it.
