Grandma Zane
1927-2011

(with T)

(with Maizie)

Sam's grandma was such an amazing women, I'm so glad that I got to know her. She will surely be missed. She loved our kids more then anything and was always the first to want to hold them at family dinners. I'll never forget the love that poured out of this women. I'm a better person for knowing her. We love you Grandma Zane. xoxo

We had so much fun with my mom, dad & brother while they were in town!

Cliff & T rode bikes around the neighborhood.

Fed some baby ducks

Baba got the kids new sunglasses. ha ha. T loves his and wants to wear them everywhere. Little sis thinks they're for chewing on.

We went on lots of walks, and enjoyed exploring our new neighborhood. (Which is so amazing! Our neighbors are so nice! They've brought cookies, cakes, come to visit...I've never felt more welcome right from the beginning of any place I've ever lived. Not to mention there are about a million kids here. It's really fun, and I think we're really going to like it here.)

T has already met a new a good friend. She lives just 2 houses away. They are so cute together. They were riding their bikes around the circle the other day and he looked so grown up. HA! I was dying, it was so cute. Here they are running through the sprinklers.

We also had fun playing tennis...

and getting ice cream with grandpa.

Cliff and my dad had to leave yesterday, and we totally miss them! But we're so lucky we still get my mom for a few days, we love having her here!

We've been busy these last 4 days!

We drove our fully loaded Penske from NY to OH. We had about a 3 hour delay in Cleveland when our truck ran out of steam and had to get towed to a Penske repair shop where it got a new alternator.

We had our 1st visitors, they were driving through town and Tahri was nice enough to stop help Sam unload some of the heavy things out of the truck while I got to hang out with Kehau and the kids one more time before they headed out west. It was hard to say goodbye....again! But glad we got to see them.

We opened the swimming pool in the backyard that apparently hasn't been opened for 3 years. There are some ducks that are pretty excited about it and have been visiting every morning & evening. Ha. T loves it.

Thanks to Sam's mom who helped pack up & clean in Ithaca, drove our car so I could keep the kids happy in the back seat on our road trip, unpack and organize our whole kitchen at our new house, ran to the store & ran to grab us some food many times. This move was so much easier with her here with us. Thank you, thank you, thank you Robyn!!

We're finally about done unpacking and starting to settle in. Pictures coming soon. Oh and in the midst of all of our craziness, Maizie got four new teeth!!

I love my Ithaca friends. Not quite sure how I feel about moving in 4 days. Then I have to make new friends. I hope I can make some good friends like my friends here.

I wanted to take T for a ride on the bus that he watched his daddy get on every day before we left. We had so much fun and I'm so glad that we could talk some friends into going with us.

Waiting at the bus stop & riding the bus...

Walking around Cornell's campus. Lucy and T held hands all day. ha ha.

Playing around in the bookstore. :)

Love birds.

Phew what a long day at school! Here are they are waiting to catch the bus home.
