Sam didn't get home from school until after dinner tonight, so since we were on our own, T and I decided to have chocolate chip pancakes...it gets worse....we ate while watching the Backyardigans in front of the TV...!

T was pretty excited about the whole thing.

3.28.2010

T has been putting on Sam's bike helmet all day long. He totally loves wearing it around. He puts it on, and then proudly does the sign for "hat" (pat on your head). Don't judge me that he's resting his hand on the toilet. I know. Disgusting. He loves the bathroom, and he can open doors, and lift the toilet lid all by himself.

Anyway, I love my little biker dude.

There's a doughnut truck just down the street from where we're staying here in FL. We went there the 1st morning of our vacation at 9:00 am and they were all sold out! So today we decided to go at 6:30 am, right when they open. (We weren't even the 1st ones there!) Boy we're glad we went! They were so tasty!

yummmmm!

When T sits on Sam's shoulders, he grabs onto Sam's ears. HA! It's the funniest thing. He does it every time. I love it :)

3.20.2010

Today we walked to the beach. We didn't get in our beach gear, we just wanted to check it out.

T is such a clean kid, that he hated the sand touching his feet. This is what he did when we tried to put him down in the sand....

He would only play in the sand when he was sitting on his Grandma's lap, keeping clean.

After the beach, we went to lunch at Firehouse Subs. Sam and I loved Firehouse Subs when we lived in Vegas, we've missed it so much! We were so excited to see one close to where we're staying here in Florida.

3.19.2010

Yesterday we flew to Florida to meet up with my parents for our Spring Break. We made it just in time to celebrate my birthday with a fun dinner out and cake at home. T's been carrying these balloons around the house since we got here yesterday. HA!

So happy to be out of the plane, waiting for our dinner table. (He was a total delight the whole dinner, even though he hadn't napped all day. I love this kid so much!!)

Thanks Mom, Dad & Sam for such a great birthday!

3.15.2010

Today we made St. Patricks Day cookies.

We didn't have a Shamrock cookie cutter, so we made frogs. At least they're green, right??

3.14.2010

Our house has been extra clean these days. This kid loves to vacuum.

3.13.2010

T put Sam's hat on all by himself today and was wearing it around the house. I think he was having fun pretending to be Dad.

3.12.2010

Last night, Sam and I went out to dinner and to the Cornell/Harvard hockey game. We had a great time, and Cornell beat Harvard 5-1.

Don't be fooled into thinking Ivy league students are a respectful, quiet bunch. The Cornell student section was the wildest I've ever seen. These guys are nuts!!

(Thanks for watching T, Rob and Tiff!)
